A competition in Korea held with the UFO Coffee Dripper from UFO COFFEE TOOLS. Co-hosted and co-planned with Jay Kim, CEO of UFO COFFEE TOOLS; held in March 2026 and concluded successfully.

Background
The UFO Coffee Dripper is a cone-shaped dripper with an 80° inner angle, designed and made in Korea. A competitor who placed second at the 2024 World Brewers Cup used it.
UFO CUP KOREA 2026 is a competition held in Korea with this dripper. It took place in March 2026 and concluded successfully.
My role
- Co-host and co-planner of the competition, together with Jay Kim, CEO of UFO COFFEE TOOLS
- Running the competition
- Building the bracket web page: group assignments, running the preliminary, main, and final rounds, and a timer
Competition format
Per the bracket, 36 competitors are split into 9 groups for the preliminary round. The 9 group winners advance to the main round, where 3 new groups are formed by draw, and the 3 group winners compete for the title in the grand final.
